Overflow of the Heart

Overflow of the Heart

What is the overflow of the heart?

Jesus tells us that out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks. In my case, out of the overflow of my heart, not only does my mouth speak, but my hands write. While I seek God privately, His words have encouraged me in such a way that I can no longer keep to myself. This is where Overflow of the Heart was birthed. As I seek my dwelling place with the Father through God’s word, his church and reading many books, my heart’s desire is to pour out more of his wisdom and knowledge that he’s revealed to me, to you. I pray that in opening my heart to you, you’ll continue to open your heart to Him. So cozy up and make yourself at home.

You’re welcome here.

“For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.”

— Matthew 12:34

About me

Words have rarely been something I’ve lacked. God has given me the gift of taking what I’ve learned through His word and delivering it on paper to share, encourage, and inspire others the way He’s done for me. I wear many titles, but my most important ones are child of God, wife to David, mom and homeschool teacher to Greyson, Brooks, and Hudson. I love all things sourdough, DIY, reading, and hosting friends and family. It is by grace alone that I’ve been saved and my eyes have been opened.

I’m so glad you’re here.
